Essential oils: 10 mixes for your diffuser

We are a huge fan of essential oils - their effect on the mind and body is constantly underestimated, but we’re believers in the huge benefits of using aromatherapy to heal. If you suffer from stress, anxiety or other mental health issues, then aromatherapy is definitely something you should try to alleviate mental discomfort. Finding the scents that work for you can be life changing, as the benefits of the smells can work instantly, working to alleviate stress. They can also work as fantastic mood boosters, energy lifters and unwinders. 

Today we’re sharing with you some of our favourite essential oils blends which can be used in a diffuser, room spray or roll on.

Essentials oils for if you’re feeling: 

Sleepy:

  • 2 drops peppermint
  • 2 drops lavender
  • 1 drop lemon

Unmotivated:

  • 3 drops peppermint
  • 2 drops grapefruit

Motivated:

  • 1 drop orange
  • 1 drop lime
  • 1 drop lemon
  • 1 drop grapefruit
  • 1 drop bergamot

 

Tired:

  • 2 drops peppermint
  • 3 drops grapefruit
  • 4 drops bergamot 

 

Cold:

  • 2 drops cinnamon 
  • 2 drops orange
  • 2 drops cave

Anxious:

  • 4 drops lavender
  • 3 drops sweet marjoram

Sore head:

  • 2 drops lavender
  • 2 drops peppermint
  • 1 drop eucalyptus 
  • 1 drop rosemary

Under the weather:

  • 2 drops lemon
  • 2 drops clove
  • 1 drop cinnamon
  • 1 drop eucalyptus 
  • 1 drop rosemary 

Can’t sleep:

  • 4 drops lavender
  • 2 drops cedarwood
  • 2 drops orange
  • 1 drop ylang ylang
